Sep. 12--AMES -- Todd Blythe dearly wants to touch a football once again. Until Iowa State's junior receiver takes the field Saturday at Kinnick Stadium, he's finding other ways to occupy his time -- not to mention his hands. "I'm keeping my fingers crossed," said a grinning Blythe during Monday's press conference. Last Saturday against UNLV, Blythe created headlines and a dubious piece of personal history because of what he did not do. For the first time since a game with Kansas during his freshman year at ISU, he failed to catch a single pass. That's a span of 17 games with at least one grab for the wideout from Indianola. ...
