Legg Mason has merged some of its Luxembourg-based sub-funds so it can manage them more effectively.

The funds were among those it inherited during the acquisition of Citigroup Asset Management.

The move comes ahead of future plans by Legg Mason to expand its Dublin-based range of funds. The details of these changes are not expected until next year.
