WELLESLEY, Mass. -- The U.S. division of Sun Life Financial, Inc. (NYSE: SLF, TSX: SLF) will be a major sponsor of the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk for the 11th consecutive year on September 17, 2006. Through its sponsorship and employee fundraising, Sun Life hopes to make a substantial impact in supporting the Jimmy Fund's efforts to raise money for research and care at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Sun Life Financial will be the official start line sponsor for the Wellesley 13.1-mile and the Boston 3-mile starts, making a corporate donation of $60,000 to the Jimmy Fund. Sun Life Financial employees have also formed a team of walkers who will join more ...
