PHILADELPHIA -- The retailing business had been good to him, so when Jay Baker retired as president of Kohl's Corp. in 2000 he decided to return the favor by helping recruit new talent.
"Retailing is a great industry, but lately it has seemed to be suffering from a lack of leadership going forward," Baker says. "We need to attract bright young people to the business."
