EC approves Slovak state aid to coal mining companies Bana Dolina, Hornonitranske bane
PRAGUE. SEPTEMBER 13. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - The European Commission (EC) said Wednesday it had approved Slovak government aid totaling EUR 5 mln to coal mine Bana Dolina and EUR 965,000 to coal mine Hornonitrianske Bane Prievidza, the EC wrote in two statements.
"The European Commission has decided not to raise any objections to the EUR 5 mln aid which Slovakia is proposing to grant to the Bana Dolina mining company," the EC said, adding in a separate statement that it decided not to raise any objections to the EUR 965,000 aid which Slovakia was proposing to grant ...
