Czech right-wing cabinet postpones introduction of mandatory monitored cash registers
PRAGUE. SEPTEMBER 13. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - The Czech right-wing Cabinet of Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek (Civic Democratic Party, ODS) decided during its Wednesday session to postpone the introduction of mandatory monitored cash registers by one year until January 1, 2008.
According to the valid legislation, monitored cash registers should be introduced as of January 1, 2007. Entrepreneurs had earlier welcomed the plan to postpone mandatory monitored cash registers.
The proposal is expected to be approved by the Chamber of Deputies. The amendment is ...
