Minmetals signs iron ore import agreement with PMC
Shanghai. September 13. INTERFAX-CHINA - China Minmetals Development Co.
Ltd., China's largest metals trader, signed a long-term iron ore import agreement with South Africa's Palabora Mining Company Ltd. (PMC), Minmetals announced Wednesday.
The two companies signed a three-year deal valued at USD 189.45 mln at the end of August. PMC will supply up to 2 mln tons of magnetite concentrate per year starting in October, according to the announcement.
