Sep. 14--Yale outside hitter Shannon Farrell is traveling 3,000 miles to play a home match.
The Bulldogs visit 10th-ranked Cal on Saturday at Haas Pavilion. Farrell, a 2003 Campolindo High School graduate, played her club ball for the Berkeley-based Golden Bear Volleyball Club. Golden Bear's home floor for tournaments is Haas Pavilion.
"I'm so excited," said Farrell, a senior. "I've played there, and now I'm going to have my family and friends from high school there. It's going to be great."
