ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) today applauded Governor Schwarzenegger's decision to veto Senate Bill 1414, which would have imposed health spending mandates on a small fraction of California's largest retailers.
"We are pleased Governor Schwarzenegger understood that this proposed ordinance would have negatively impacted economic growth and reduced jobs in California, and done nothing to solve the state's health care challenges," said RILA President Sandy Kennedy.
