Sep. 13--PROJECT TO ADDRESS DOWNTOWN PARKING: Salina Downtown Inc. executive director Phyll Klima proposed a pilot project regarding downtown parking at Tuesday's SDI board meeting.

A downtown parking study is scheduled for next year, but in the meantime, Klima suggested a pilot project that would address the problems of angering retail shoppers with multiple tickets, inadequate eight-hour parking for employees and long-term parking.
