Sep. 14--Granted, the story is a bit crass. "I remember one time last year my buddy was in a close match," said Dan Stein, a member of the Bethpage High School golf team. "I had already putted out, so before his opponent putted, I turned my leg backward." The 16-year-old Stein, who is currently the No. 1 player on the Bethpage team, paused.
