Sep. 14--Sharon Eady was not happy with her first run. "Terrible," said the only Odessan in Wednesday's sheep dog trials at the Permian Basin Fair and Exposition. "I just couldn't drive the stock."But competing at all was a victory of sorts for Eady and her dog, Lucy -- a border collie like most of the dogs participating. Eady was commanding the dog while on crutches after shattering her kneecap in a July 4 fall."I just so enjoy watching the dogs," she said. "They're so smart. They just use their brains.
