The North Slope Spot Price steadily, but persistently, increased over the last year. As of July 19, 2006, the North Slope Spot Prices was $72.24 per barrel, compared to just $55.10 a year ago in July 2005. This denotes a 31 percent increase.
The increase from June to July 2006 was minor but significant. In the period of one month, the North Slope oil price increased from $66.93 to $72.24 per barrel. In itself, this represents a fairly significant increase of 7.93 percent in a single ...
