SAN FRANCISCO -- Fitch Ratings assigns an 'AAA' rating to the Board of Education of Jordan School District, Salt Lake County, Utah's (the district) $15 million general obligation (GO) school building bonds (Utah School Bond Guaranty Program), series 2006. The ratings are based on the guaranty provided by the Utah School Bond Default Avoidance Program. Fitch also assigns an underlying 'AAA' rating on the series 2006 bonds. Additionally, Fitch affirms the underlying 'AAA' rating for the district's approximately $171.9 million outstanding general obligation bonds. The Rating Outlook is Stable.
