Sep. 15--Fort Wayne-based Vera Bradley, which makes quilted handbags, travel bags and accessories, announced plans Thursday to debut a new retail strategy, one highlighted by the opening of a new store this fall at Jefferson Pointe.
Two other stores, in Phoenix and Dayton, Ohio, also are slated to open this fall. The Phoenix store will support the company's efforts to expand distribution in the west, according to a news release.
