The Great American Beer Festival has announced an agreement with the Boston Beer CO. regarding a dispute involving use of Great American Beer Festival awards in the advertising and public relations campaigns for Samuel Adams lagers. The agreement includes Boston Beer Co.'s radio ad, which claims that Samuel Adams lager beers have won at the Great American Beer Festival "four years running." In 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988 and 1989, the Great American Beer Festival included a consumer preference poll in its festival activities.
