Sep. 17--Dropping out of high school is not a very smart thing to do. If you don't believe us, check out the latest report titled "Education at a Glance" from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, an international group based in Paris.

According to the organization, Americans who don't finish high school literally are shortchanging themselves. A person without a diploma earns, on average, only 65 percent of what high school graduates earn.
