RICHMOND, Calif., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sangamo BioSciences, Inc. announced today the presentation of preclinical and clinical data from its SB-509 ZFP Therapeutic(TM) program at the 42nd Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), held in Copenhagen, Denmark, September 14 - 17, 2006. Sangamo is developing SB-509 for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy and intends to initiate a Phase 2 study later this year.
