Sep. 19--CERRO GORDO -- There are many cures for a losing streak. The Cerro Gordo volleyball team chose a tight match against its chief rival.
The Broncos held on for a 25-20, 17-25, 25-20 victory over Bement on Monday, slowing a freefall that saw the team lose seven of its last eight matches. "We went through a mental downtime for a while, and it felt good to get past that tonight," Cerro Gordo coach Dana Tinkle said.
