Ratkovich Co. and Wilshire Associates, the partnership behind the Wiltern Center complex, have filed a claim with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority related to physical damage caused by Metro Rail construction, and are seriously considering suing the MTA to collect, said Clare DeBriere, development director at Ratkovich Co.

Developer Wayne Ratkovich would not be the first to sue the MTA, but he is the only known Mid-Wilshire property owner to have obtained business disruption loans from the MTA related to Red Line subway construction.
