My recent visit to Cape Town brought back wonderful memories of home. Notwithstanding the opposite seasons, Israelis and Palestinians alike associate the blossom of citrus trees with spring in the Holy Land, and of the message of a beloved land that surprises us yet again with its ancient blessings.
These memories lead me to the article by Ronnie Kasrils ("Israel's fluttering peace options", September 13), which proposes an innovative stance.
Finally, Kasrils seems to accept the fact that there is no other option but the "two-state solution" in that Land of Citrus Blossom, and that Palestinians and Israelis should aspire to ...
