Here are the contenders: 8-9 p.m. Ugly Betty(ABC): Heartwarming telenovela adaptation. Survivor(CBS): Solid veteran, sure to win the time slot. My Name Is Earland The Office(NBC): Top-quality comedy block.
9-10 p.m. Grey's Anatomy (ABC): Steamy Thursday newcomer.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation(CBS): Network cornerstone. Deal or No Deal(NBC): Don't bank on anything but third. 10-11 p.m.
