Sep. 21--After six years of construction, the long-ago site of the Trolley Stop in Skippack will open Wednesday as Hotel Fiesole ("fee-so-lay"), a 16-room inn based on the Regency Hotel in Aspen that incorporates the original Trolley.
Two restaurants plus a wine bar are part of the building (4046 Skippack Pike, 610-222-8009), all under the direction of chef Rainer Floeter, whose background includes Twenty21 and private kitchens.
The posh room, open nightly, will be called Mistral -- a white-tablecloth Northern Italian (with French, German and Swiss influences); entrees will be $24 to $36. The bistro downstairs, Bella Rosa, will serve entrees ...
