Sep. 21--JAMES CITY -- Three Toano men were indicted Wednesday on murder charges related to a botched drug robbery in May that ended with a Lafayette High School student shot to death. Kareem Antoine Landers, 20; Andre Lamont Meekins, 19; and Lamars Meekins, 18, are charged with first-degree murder and use of a firearm to commit a robbery. The three are accused of killing 17-year-old Rabon Smith on May 12, when they shot into a car driven by 19-year-old Troy Jones at the Reeds Gate subdivision near Chickahominy Road.
