Jeanne Rosinski's answering machine says, ``Have you walked today? Hope so.''
Those are telling words, and not just because she's a walking coach and motivational speaker.
Rosinski lives on hope fed by thousands of miles of walking. After years of training, racing and hoping, she's aiming for a slot on the 1996 Olympics racewalking team, though she's modest about that:
``My chances of making the Olympics are pretty slim. My real goal is just to make the Olympic trials. If I do that, I'll achieve my goal.''
Still, she trains to win, walking as many as five hours a day, a regimen she started a decade ago when she burned off 100 pounds of excess flab and changed ...
