Sep. 21--DUNKIRK -- Dunkirk Metal Products recently received approval for a $100,000 loan through the County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency that will allow the firm to begin making and selling wood-fueled gasification boilers.
"This project allows Dunkirk Metal to produce a proprietary product for a market that offers significant growth for the foreseeable future," said company president William Raines. "With continuing increased costs for electricity, natural gas and heating oil, there is a growing demand in both the residential and commercial markets for high-efficiency wood gasification boilers."
