Bangkok Airways expands facilities.

Sep. 22--Bangkok Airways is moving to expand its presence at Suvarnabhumi Airport by investing one billion baht in an aircraft service facility.

The facility will consist of a hangar that can park three A320 jets at the same time and the capability to provide "C Check" maintenance performed every 12-18 months on aircraft.

The privately-owned carrier has been a major investor in support facilities at Suvarnabhumi. In place is a 2.77-billion-baht ground and cargo handling facility operated by Bangkok Flight Services and a one-billion baht inflight catering facility run by Bangkok Air Catering Co.The airline had been planning a ...
