Sep. 24--STOCKTON -- Local critics of the war in Iraq had a venue in which to hear from national speakers on the subject and express their own opinions -- a forum Saturday at University of the Pacific. About 50 people crowded into front-row chairs in an auditorium at Grace Covell Hall that could have held three times that many people. One woman, while finding a seat, said it was as large a crowd as could be expected in a midsized city in a conservative county.
