NEW YORK -- In an otherwise lackluster nail care category, the artificial nails segment continues to be one of the few bright spots.
"In the scope of the whole beauty business, artificial has been holding its own," Kiss Products Inc. senior vice president of marketing Grace Tallon says. "For some retailers the artificial category is one of the most productive in the whole beauty arena."
Because of this, some retailers are revamping their nail care planograms to include more artificial nail SKUs, she notes.
