THE arbitration hearing into whether at least 150 police officers should be evicted from their official residences, has been postponed indefinitely by police management.
Billy Daniels, of the South African Police Union (Sapu), confirmed that the arbitration hearing, set for August 24 and then postponed to September 4, had been stalled indefinitely at the request of the police top brass.
Police officers at several official residences, including Park Court flats in Kenilworth, were told in July that they had until the end of the month to vacate their homes.
