The MTA Real Estate Committee on March 16 approved a proposed agreement with the team of LaSalle Partners/Williams Jackson Ewing to begin the $100 million Grand Central Terminal Retail Development Program, which is aimed at expanding and improving public and retail space in the landmark building.
The agreement must have final approval of the MTA Board, which was scheduled to meet March 25 as we went to press.
Under the proposed agreement LaSalle Partners will be responsible for overall direction and management of the Development Program and WJE will be primarily responsible for retail planning, merchandising and leasing.
