Tokyo, Japan, Sept 26, 2006 - (JCN Newswire) - NTT DoCoMo, Inc. and its eight regional subsidiaries announced today that starting September 29, they will market the FOMA(TM) M2501 HIGH-SPEED PCMCIA Type II data card for speedy mobile packet transmissions with PCs.

Downlink speeds of up to 3.6Mbps are available in HSDPA service areas ("FOMA HIGH-SPEED Areas") in Japan. The card works on W-CDMA, GSM and GPRS networks. Packet communications roaming is possible in 83 countries/regions and voice roaming in 145 countries/regions (end of August 2006).
