Sep. 26--RICHMOND -- U.S. Sen. George Allen on Monday adamantly denied an online magazine report in which a former University of Virginia football teammate alleged that Allen, as a college student, often used an inflammatory racial epithet to refer to black people.
"I do not remember ever using that word, and it is completely false for them to say that that was part of my vocabulary then, or since then, or now," Allen said after a news conference in Richmond.
