New York -- "Now is the time for a high-performance, no-wrinkle worsted fabric that can be washed," said Paolo Zegna, president of the Textile division of Ermenegildo Zegna, the large upscale Italian fabric, men's apparel, retail and accessories group.
And his timely mill has developed just that fabric, High Performance Superwash, which it will debut next week at Ideabiella (March 15-18 in Cernobbio, Italy).
High Performance is Zegna's trade name. Superwash is an International Wool Secretariat designation for washable wool fabric that performs according to its standards.
