NEW YORK - Converse is supporting the retail launch of the first Converse by John Varvatos apparel collection this fall with a big-budget advertising push in print and outdoors. Conceived with the winking, suggestive tagline of "Get Chucked," referring to the brand's iconic Chuck Taylor sneakers, the campaign breaks this month in over 15 magazines and on bus shelters, urban panels and wild postings in New York.

Additionally, a double billboard has gone up on the corner of Broadway and Grand Street in New York's Soho district.
