CALLS FOR NOMINATIONS
The Women's Council of the Ypsilanti Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for its 2007 Athena Award. It is presented annually to the local businessperson that embodies the ideals of professional excellence, community involvement and mentoring of women in achieving their full potential. The Athena Award recipient is to be honored at a March 20 luncheon and at the Ypsilanti Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner in May. They will also receive an all-expense-paid trip to the Athena International Conference in Chicago in April. Nomination deadline: Feb. 28, 2007.
