THE HALL to which the Steinway concert grand piano was delivered was brand new.
The seats were new, the doors were new, the back wall was so new that it was, last Wednesday, still under construction.
The Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts will have its grand opening Saturday when Dionne Warwick sings, accompanied by Steinway D575595. She will perform in what was once Suffolk High School, in a center whose slogan is "Where Memories Are Made."
