Sep. 28--Crystal Riley was a Cuyahoga County mother of four who often came to Columbus to have sex with men for money in a West Side house, according to testimony at her murder trial. The last time got too rough, and Riley called her friends to say she had been raped. One sympathetic friend decided to beat up the man, prosecutors said, but the beating went too far and the man died. Yesterday, a Franklin County jury found Riley guilty of murder and felonious assault for arranging the death of Bruce S. Sengkeophainh, 34, on Aug. 4, 2005.
