Sep. 29--Target Corp. is going organic in more ways than one. Already known for its strategic corporate preference for growing organically, rather than by acquisitions, Target is bringing more organic products to its grocery shelves, hoping to raise its appeal as a one-stop shopping destination. Minneapolis-based Target said Thursday it is introducing a line of organic groceries under its Archer Farms private label at the company's SuperTarget stores and select discount locations. The private-label organic line will include whole-grain pizzas, pastas and complete dinners as well as dairy products, fruit strips and juices.
