The Air Force this week issued the draft request for proposals (RFP) for its next generation tanker aircraft and has asked the bidding industry teams to offer input on how best to deal with the lingering trade issue between the United States and the European Union (EU) so that the forthcoming competition remains as open and fair as possible, according to the service's top official.
