COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., May 9 /PRNewswire/ -- American Telecasting, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: ATEL) announced today that it has entered into four letters of intent to acquire wireless cable systems serving 32,000 customers in five markets comprising 1.2 million homes. In four separate transactions, American Telecasting will exchange aggregate consideration of cash and common stock valued at approximately $105 million for wireless cable systems in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Las Vegas, Nevada; Lakeland, Florida; Wichita, Kansas and Casey, Illinois.
