Sep. 30--The Ryan Express is making a stop in Greeley. What started as a hope and a prayer following last year's Friends of Baseball breakfast has blossomed into a reality as Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan will be the featured guest at the 20th annual Friends of Baseball breakfast Jan. 27 at Island Grove Regional Park. The breakfast, which raises money for baseball programs of all ages and abilities across Weld County, raised a record $33,827 last January when Hall of Fame Kansas City Royals third baseman George Brett was its featured speaker.
