FOREWORD
The so-called "Product Liability Fairness Act" is not fair to the consumers of this country. It is only fair to big business that has spent millions of dollars to mislead the American people.
Can someone seriously argue that it is fair to provide a defense from punitive damages to pharmaceutical or aircraft manufacturers by satisfying an FDA or FAA requirement when evidence obtained after marketing the product may show danger to human life?
Can someone seriously argue that it is fair to allow a manufacturer to escape liability for a defective product that still has a useful life expectancy?
