Sep. 30--JEFFERSON CITY -- Clinging to a seven-point lead late in the third quarter last night at Adkins Stadium, the top-ranked Rock Bridge football team was beginning to build a strong case for losing yet another game to Jefferson City after the Jays blocked a 27-yard field-goal attempt by Brandon Gerau. Since bolting to a three-touchdown lead in the first quarter, Rock Bridge had scored only once more, allowing Jefferson City to gradually claw its way back into the game. Two of Rock Bridge's top players, Scott Concannon and Aron White, were suffering from a bout of stomach flu that caused them to throw up before and during the game....
