Oct. 1--Viva Las Vegas! Not being high rollers, my daughter Traci and I mostly played the penny slots. Sometimes we came out a few dollars ahead; sometimes we broke even. But in the end, they pretty much had our money and we had fun. But the most fun involved the shows we attended: For comedian Louie Anderson we were front row center and were among the people Louie chatted with during the show. It was great fun. For magician David Copper-field's show, we also had great seats. I have to tell you, watching the feats performed on television doesn't hold a candle to being there and seeing it live.
