ROYAL OAK, Mich., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- There will be no shortage of flu shots at the Royal Oak Medical Center's annual Drive-Thru Flu Shot program on Saturday, October 14 and 21. "We will have an ample supply on hand, and expect that anyone seeking to be immunized will be able to protect themselves against this year's flu strain," said Dr. M. George, director of the Royal Oak Medical Center.
This one-of-a-kind flu shot program allows people to be immunized without leaving their car. The shots are administered by health care professionals to patients who drive up and simply extend an arm.
