Abstract
The present study is inserted in the field of regional development and makes an analysis of the environmental management performed by the tobacco industries located in the region of Vale do Rio Pardo in the State of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), which has the particularity of being the main tobacco producer in Brazil.
