Oct. 1--It may come to be known as the day Buffalo became a major player in architectural tourism. The guest list for Wednesday's dedication and private premiere of the "lost buildings" at the Darwin Martin House Complex certainly tells you the project is resonating far and wide.
Gov. George E. Pataki will be on hand to celebrate the substantial completion of a long, complex and expensive project in which the state was a key partner.
