COLLEGE FOOTBALL
BOISE - Get this urgent message to the Beavers. Quickly.
Do not. Repeat. Do not. Once more. Do NOT take a 14-0 lead in a football game when the opponent is Boise State.
It is not a good thing.
For the third straight season, and for the second time in Oregon State's last two visits to Bronco Stadium's blue artificial turf, the losing team led 14-0.
On this Thursday night, one filled by smoke from wildfires and fanned by gusting winds, Boise State's wannabe BCS bunch scored 42 unanswered points en route to a 42-14 shelling of the Beavers.
