Kyocera Wireless Corp., a global manufacturer of CDMA wireless handsets and devices, announced that its CDMA data mobility solutions are providing the high-speed wireless connectivity for KVH Industries' new TracNet 100 mobile Internet system. The Kyocera KPC650 PC Card and the Kyocera KR1 Mobile Router, the key wireless access components of the TracNet 100, take a single CDMA2000 1x Evolution Data Optimized (EV-DO) broadband connection and create a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot for multiple PCs, using 802.11g technology to deliver download speeds of up to 2.4Mbps.
